Alright i got to taste this one the other day over at Buffalo Wild Wings!!! really awesome!!! you gotta try it....It is a double IPA so expect some hops....expect some citrus flavors....fuck yeah!!!!
Odins Gift - Korpiklaani
I'm back from my tour with Sacrificial Slaughter you drunks! and a great time was had by all..... Anyway on my travels I got to taste a few different beers that I normally wouldn't have had the chance to taste...or even hear about for that matter. This brew that bring forth today is from all the way up from Seattle Washington called Odins Gift, and what a gift it was...from what read on the label this beer is brewed with juniper berries!....well here ya go
Since this delicious beer has a very big old norse thing goin on I figure I'll give you a viking/pagan style metal band, and not just a viking/pagan style, but a band who repeatedly sings about the wondrous brilliance that is our favorite thing besides music.....beer.......here is Korpiklaani with their song "Happy Little Boozer"
Sacrificial Slaughter - 75 South?
This post is a very special post since i had to think about how i wanted to pair this band to a beer....but instead I'm pairing a band with....... a blended whiskey....and not just any blended whiskey.... 75 SOUTH to be exact... I can smell this thing right here at my desk even through the Old Rasputin I've got next to me! this stuff is perfect for this band and this song!!! so heres your 75 South

Ruthless Rye IPA - Gutsaw
Well all you boozers, heres another one for you, this time were goin to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and to their seasonal beer the "Ruthless Rye IPA"... now i had no idea what to expect but it ended up being pretty damned good...not what you expect from a normal IPA and you really taste the rye they're talkin about...well here you go!
Which brings me to the musical portion of this bad boy GUTSAW! good friends of mine this is their song advancement through defilement......behold the badass that is Gutsaw!!!!!!....let the music take you over as the epic taks a hold of your spine....as the riffs cut through your gizzards like a hot knife through butter!!!!! and then bang your head....as if you werent going to be able to in the morning....cuz you'll be dead from awesome!!!!!
